Lug End DPCV

Lug End DPCV

The lug end DPCV body has throughout bolt holes (lugs) around its circumference. The valve is bolted to the pipe flanges using long bolts. Heavier and bulkier due to solid integrated lugs. Requires more space for installation. Lug End DPCV is Heavier than flanged end DPCV. Easier to align and centre compared to wafer end DPCV. The robust construction provides superior stability. Can handle higher pressures than a flanged end DPCV. Lug end DPCV is more expensive and heavier than flanged end DPCV due to its Solid lugs required throughout drilling. Provides a reliable seal, especially for high-pressure, high-temperature, applications.
